For the money you pay for it, you get a decent laptop that may not have the latest hardware, but it looks very good and its workmanship is exemplary. I consider the ScreenPad to be one of its biggest strengths, and I'm glad to see Asus trying to innovate in this regard. If the specs suit you, I can recommend buying.
Asus has hit the jackpot with its bet on OLED displays in notebooks. From a user experience perspective, the move to OLED displays is a far more important innovation than the traditional annual arrival of new processor series. The most striking feature of the Asus Zenbook 14X OLED laptop is the upgraded touchpad with integrated display. We also liked the comfortable keyboard.

This is exactly what I imagine all laptops of the future should look like. The ability to control everything by touch, while not being deprived of the luxury of a classic keyboard with touchpad. All the while, the laptop retains its lightness, is quiet, and in a durable yet nice looking aluminum body.

But once you open the display lid, it's clear why this laptop will have fans. OLED panels aren't a complete revelation in laptops anymore, but it's still nice to see a contrasting screen with bold colors even at full screen brightness.
