Boiled down to its essence, the ZenBook 14X OLED is a well-built 14-inch laptop with robust performance and a spectacular OLED display. It’s easy to recommend on that basis alone, but it has some nice extras like the ScreenPad 2 touchpad that comes in handy if you’re willing to take some time to learn its various uses.

Based on our first impressions, the Zenbook 14X OLED is an even more premium version of past ASUS ultrabooks. While it shares mostly the same look as its predecessors, it comes with key improvements with its OLED touch display and design enhancements. On top of these, the 14X OLED is powered by a capable processor, meaning it shouldn’t disappoint performance-wise.

Having used this updated Asus ZenBook 14X for the last weeks, I must say I’m impressed. Asus pretty much addressed all my major complaints of the standard ZenBook 14 models of the past: the 14X feels sturdier made, offers stiffer hinges that allow the screen to go flat 180 degrees, offers a much improved thermal design that blows the hot air to the sides, and not into the screen, offers faster hardware, and excellent 16:10 screen options, both matte or touch. The Zenbook 14X OLED simply means business from the way it looks. And it can carry its duties excellently whether it’s sharing presentations, a half-day worth of video meetings, or even doing creative work.

Its sensational OLED screen and equally brilliant speakers will allow you to relax after working with a good movie / series or listening to your favorite music.
