Back in 2006, ASUS created the S6F Leather Collection, the world’s first laptop to incorporate genuine-leather panels. ZenBook Edition 30 brings a futuristic twist to that classic look, with a lid encased in luxurious Pearl White genuine leather for a pure, bold style statement. It’s specially chosen for its luxuriously soft texture and pristine appearance. Only the best 40% of the leather on each hide is good enough for use on ZenBook Edition 30, and the precise color-matching technique for the fashionable pure Pearl White color gives it a classic yet bold style. Every aspect of ZenBook Edition 30 is designed to reflect our passion for technology and craftsmanship. The genuine-leather lid cover is hand-stitched and hand-finished by experienced craftsmen. The leather is split into a 0.9mm-thin sheet. Each edge of the leather is shaved down to a precise 0.45mm thickness to allow it to be melded flawlessly to the underlying metal. The silky-smooth Rose Gold diamond-cut edges around the lid cover, trim bar and touchpad surround are perfectly complemented by the inlaid rose-gold-plated logo on the palm rest. It’s a breathtaking demonstration of the craftsman’s art.
