Asus has gone with an IPS display for the ZenScreen Smart Monitor MS27UC, so viewing angles are excellent. The 4K resolution on a 27-inch screen also makes for crisp and sharp images. But colours aren't as vivid, and don't pop like an OLED or even a VA panel. The matte anti-glare finish doesn't help here, though it does a good job at reducing reflections. Especially handy if you're using this monitor for work or watching videos in the day. The screen has an average brightness (350 nits) for an office monitor. So while the monitor supports DisplayHDR 400, the visual impact in HDR movies on Netflix is fairly muted.
