The VivoBook S15 Oled Snapdragon is a very good laptop, and while we weren't able to try out the ‘deluxe’ version, the one equipped with the X Plus already gets the job done. The 16:9 screen is very well calibrated and makes for very comfortable video viewing.

One of the first ultrabooks to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite processor, the Asus Vivobook S15 embodies the ambition of a new computing era centred on AI. Its performance in this area is undeniable: the Hexagon NPU outperforms that of its competitors. The Vivobook S15's battery life, up to 14 hours in real-life conditions, is also a major asset, as are its elegant design, its high-quality OLED screen and its RGB keyboard.

ASUS Vivobook S 15 is one of the first laptops available with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor on ARM architecture. It is able to work for more than 10 hours from the battery. Equipped with a gorgeous 15.6-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It has a full-size keyboard with RGB backlighting.

The laptop itself is actually very good, the processor performance often outperforms the various x86/AMD64 variants, is relatively quiet and has decent battery life.

The Snapdragon X Elite processor in the new Vivobook shines and proves that an army processor on Windows can make sense.

One of the first Copilot+ computers on the market left me with a positive impression. This is mainly due to the Snapdragon X Elite processor, which even in its weakest configuration provides high measurable performance backed by high efficiency. Compared to ARM's previous attempts, this is a respectable rival that can boldly match processors from both Intel and AMD.

If you need a quiet work laptop with long endurance, decent performance and a powerful NPU for future AI use, I can definitely recommend this Vivobook S 15.

This laptop is exciting though as it showcases a dream that many have had for a long time, a decent Windows experience on an ARM64 platform. We hope that ASUS continues to invest in this sort of machine and that in future the price point drops to a level where laptops like this are more easily accessible.

If you don't plan on doing much gaming, the Vivobook S 15 offers a great balance of performance and power efficiency to satisfy most people. If your workload includes niche apps or programs you'll want to be sure they support ARM64 unless you don't mind waiting for support to show up later, presumably.

The battery life was equally as impressive. On full brightness, I managed an entire day of use and more. This equals around 12 hours of full video playback on max brightness. Something unheard of on a Windows notebook.
