[Wireless Router] ASUS Router App remote connection troubleshooting
When you remote connect using the ASUS Router app, if you encounter a situation where you cannot connect successfully, you can refer to the following steps for simple troubleshooting.
1. Make sure your ASUS Router App has remote Connection enabled.

2. Try to see if you can connect remotely using the ASUS router Web GUI. If you cannot connect even with the Web GUI, it is possible that the router is not connected to the internet. Please check the connection status of the router.

3. Make sure that the ASUS router firmware and the ASUS router app are both updated to the latest version.

4. Try connecting your phone or tablet to a different network source, as there may be internet restrictions from the network equipment or internet service provider (ISP).
5. When using the ASUS Router App for remote connection, if your actual location is in China but the account binding region is set to elsewhere, it may cause connection issues. Please follow the steps below to change your phone's system region to China and re-login to resolve the remote connection issues.
Logging in with an account from a different region may be considered as a different account, requiring re-binding of the managed devices.
Steps for iOS Devices:
1. Open the [Settings] App:
On your iPhone or iPad, locate and tap the [Settings] App.
2. Go to [General] Settings:
Scroll down and tap [General].
3. Go to [Language & Region] Settings:
Scroll down and tap [Language & Region].
4. Select [Region]:
Tap [Region].
5. Change the Region:
From the list, select [China]. After selecting, the system may ask you to confirm the change. Please tap confirm.
6. Complete the Setup:
Once the change is complete, your iOS device will automatically apply the new region settings. Please reopen the ASUS Router App and try re-logging in.
Steps for Android Devices:
1. Open the [Settings] App:
On your Android phone or tablet, locate and tap the [Settings] App.
2. Go to [System] Settings (some devices may show [General Management] or similar options):
Scroll down and tap [System].
3. Go to [Language and Input] Settings:
Tap [Language and Input] (some devices may show [Language & Region] or similar options).
4. Select [Region] (some devices may show [Location] or [Region Settings]):
Tap [Region].
5. Change the Region:
From the list, select [China]. After selecting, the system may ask you to confirm the change. Please tap confirm.
6. Complete the Setup:
Once the change is complete, your Android device will automatically apply the new region settings. Please reopen the ASUS Router App and try re-logging in.
