End of support for Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8.1, and Windows 7

Windows 11 End of Support Dates for Each Version

After the end dates, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates for these versions. This applies to the following editions:

  • Pro
  • Pro Education
  • Pro for Workstations
  • SE

Windows 10 support will end on October 14, 2025

After October 14, 2025, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or technical support for Windows 10.

Windows 8.1 support ended on January 10, 2023

As of January 10, 2023, Microsoft no longer provides security updates or technical support for Windows 8.1.

Windows 7 support ended on January 14, 2020

Microsoft has terminated the Windows 7 support since January 14, 2020. Technical assistance and software updates from Windows Update that help protect your PC are no longer available for the product.
